Day 6 and 7

Day 6


Thursday morning started with a shot and then getting ready for another doctor appointment and then work. I had to ask the nurse if it was a good or bad thing about being there 2 days in a row. Apparently they keep a close eye on you so that they don't miss the window and keep up with what's going on with you. OHSS is a serious thing too. She didn't mention it but it's when you get overstimulated. That's not good at all.

Anyways, I have another appointment on Sunday morning to see how I'm doing. I start Ganirelix (sp) tonight to stop me from ovulating too soon.

I did go from 9 follies on Wednesday to about 16 yesterday (based on what the nurse said on my patient instruction voicemail).

They can grow several mm a day!

Day 7

I feel soooo tired lately. I use my CPAP so I know it's not that....It's probably all the meds and working more than usual. Getting up early is getting harder and we've been a tad more relaxed on being exactly on time with the shots.

I know, we're bad.

My uterus area also feels like it's a little more "full" than usual. Not sure that's the best description...but maybe you get what I mean.

I'm thinking the retrieval will be sometime next week but I'm not really sure.

Of course the SUMMER job I'm doing needs me all week from 8:30-6:30....great. I can't babysit and I will feel really bad when I have to call in (like I've forewarned them about) and not be able to work.

Technically I'm not really supposed to be there right now but they have a teacher out of town. So I would be her. But they really can't and shouldn't be dependent on me...but it looks like they are.

We'll see what happens...and frankly, they will just have to understand. There's no way around that...
