It's almost Day 14 and no LH surge yet. Clomid was supposed to help me ovulate. Starting Friday I have been POAS to see if it detects the LH surge. The LH hormone thingy means I should be ready to ovulate in the next 21-48 hours. However, no pink lines yet...even after getting up purposely EARLY just to see if my "morning urine" is going to be a winner.
I had met or talked to people that ovulated later on Clomid (like day 16 or 17). I met someone yesterday that used Clomid and got pregnant but never saw a surge of the LH hormone. So who the heck knows?!
But according to the doctor, I have tomorrow as my last POAS. If it's still a no show then I will probably go in on Wednesday to see what's up. Yay more blood work and yet another internal ultrasound....Go me.
I could be like the other woman I have talked to or met but I am thinking it didn't do anything. We'll see in a day or so I guess.
Grr...All I can do is take it as a "learning experience" and hope that the doc can figure out what will work better from this "experiment".
I almost forgot...here's an article someone else posted on their blog that I borrowed. :) It's about how to talk to and support people going through infertility.
