Well not quite. It's actually Sunday night right now and the IUI is scheduled for Tuesday morning. I liked the title though and might not update tomorrow...so...here ya go...
On Wednesday, I posted my 5 little follies. Well, those grew into more follies, and somewhat bigger ones.
On Friday I had a 15, 12, and 6 on my left. I had 2 7s and 2 6s on the right. Still not big enough, but getting there. My lining was at 11 and my estrogen was 135.
Instructions were to go to back to the doctor on Sunday (today). So that makes 3 times in the last 5 days. I practically live there. lol
Around 3:30 or so I got a personal call from the office (FINALLY after being told around 11 that I would have to wait longer) saying I needed to do my HCG shot between 8-10pm tonight. Then we are instructed to baby dance. lol Monday is nothing but then Tuesday is the BIG DAY!
Surreal. That is the word to best describe all moments leading up and probably following this news. The stats from today's blood work and ultrasound are...
Estrogen 187, Progesterone (?) 1.2 = close to ovulation
17 and 18 on Left are the two main ones we're concerned about. I didn't ask about the rest because the were small. Remember....18-20 is ready to go.
7:20AM Hubby will go in for his part then I am scheduled to do the IUI at 9:00AM. Then....we wait.
And wait...
And wait....
And wait...
until Sept. 13th (my dad's bday) and I go have a pregnancy test done. I am not suppose to take a home pregnancy test because of the HCG shot. HCG is what the HPT reads...and I am giving myself that. SO...it won't be accurate results.
I was joking with the nurse lady because I've been there so much lately, I won't know what to do with myself! lol 2 weeks without having to go there....but waiting in agony to know what happened. ARGH!
*Takes Deep Breath*
Reality is setting in and making us crap out pants. LOL Not really...just figuratively. It's a lot to process but I just keep reminding myself of the outcome...
Please keep happy thought and sticky vibes coming our way. :)
Thanks!
