Leave it to Bravo to come up with a show called "Pregnant in Heels". I was actually pleasantly surprised when I saw the first and second episodes. Now, I'm a tad hooked. Some of these people are quite "interesting". :)
Most of them have a lot of money, high powered jobs, and of course...they are pregnant.
The best part of the show is Rosie Pope. She is a maternity concierge. On the website on bravotv.com, this is part of her bio. Frankly, I didn't understand the whole "maternity concierge" either.
"London-born entrepreneur Rosie Pope is the creator and designer of the renowned fashion line, Rosie Pope Maternity. She is also the creator and teacher of MomPrep, which helps expecting and new moms figure out solutions to the challenges of motherhood. From how to find the best nanny, to selecting the right fitness class and everything in between, Pope's maternity concierge service has helped countless women when they needed it the most."
The ironic thing (and a bit of why I like her) is that she is going through IVF. Her son was a complete surprise because based on how her uterus is, he shouldn't have been able to grow in there. She explains it better...but there are clips of her and her husband doing the shots and talking about their struggles. Apparently she was successful because her bio lists her 2 sons. So that's good news. :)
So here she deals with some high maintenance woman/couples who sometimes don't realize HOW good they have it, and she's struggling to add to her family.
She's funny, optimistic, hard working, truthful, and sometimes very gutsy.
If you have this channel, I definitely recommend watching it just once. Use this link to learn more about the first two episodes.
