I guess this post is kinda pointless because I will be updating again later...but I couldn't resist. I do have some anxiety mounting about all of this.
The usual questions are running around in my head.
What is it going to feel like?
Will it work?
How will I react to it?
Will it work?
What is going to happen to my body?
Will it work?!
and so forth, and so on.
So far the biggest pain in the butt has been trying to figure out WHEN to do the darn shots because of my crazy schedule next week.
Here's how I think my schedule is going to look...
300 units of Menopur (sp) in the AM
300 units of Follistism in the PM
Sat and Sunday--6:30 AM and PM (going back to bed these days for sure!)
Monday 6:30 AM and PM
Tues 6:30 AM and probably 5:45-6ishPM (Thank GOD there is an hour window). After my meeting would be too late. Looks like I'll have to take my shot at hubby's office.
Wed. 6:20ish (maybe earlier since I have a 7am appt) AM And 6:30ish PM
Thurs on...it will depend on my blood work and ultrasound. I'll know more Wed. afternoon as to if I stay this course or change.
So it doesn't look that bad when I write it on here, but the agony of making it all work and whether or not I'd be able to do it late or early...that was the kicker.
Keep in mind that these times are when I should be injected...it doesn't count for the time BEFORE. I still have to get up, get dressed, and get ready for work (sometimes way earlier than necessary). Hopefully DH will help put them together and it won't be so bad timewise. Otherwise I'm going to be running late all week. I don't want that.
I guess there is some excitement about this too...because let's face it...we're trying to make a baby! That's exciting!
Not the way I planned, but...here goes nothing....
Oh, I also got another HUGE box of meds today (Friday). I think they ordered me too much. Oops. Oh well...I guess it's better to be prepared. I don't have a good pic of it so...oh well. I am sure you can imagine. :)
Wish me luck on my first prick!
Wait...that sounded bad..... oh well. G'night
You've got it all planned out!! It looks great. Just double check that it's ok with the RE. I was instructed to do all my meds together, so yes that meant for a few days I was giving myself 3 shots in a matter of minutes. it really wasn't all that bad.
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited for you!!! I hope this works splendidly!
